What we collect, and what we don't.
No tracking until you say yes, no selling anything on, and nothing hidden. This page explains the rest in plain English.

The short version
- The only cookies here are Google Analytics, and only if you accept them. Decline and nothing is stored on your device.
- We only receive your details if you choose to send them, through a form, an email, or WhatsApp.
- If you decline, we get no analytics about your visit at all. Only our host's standard server logs, which exist for security.
- The AI Act check runs entirely in your browser. Your answers are never sent to us and we never see them.
- We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
What we collect, and why
If you send us a message
The contact form asks for your name, email address, business type and your message. We use it to reply to you and, if we end up working together, to keep a record of how the conversation started. The legal basis is your consent, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries about our own services.
If you take the AI Readiness Check
You see your score immediately without giving us anything. If you then ask for the full breakdown, we receive your email address along with your industry, your score, and the answers you gave. We use that to send you the breakdown and to make our reply genuinely useful rather than generic. The legal basis is your consent.
If you run the AI Visibility Check
The AI Visibility Check is a separate tool, hosted for us on Manus. It asks for your website, some details about your business, the topics you want tested, and your email address, then emails you the report. Those details are processed by that tool rather than through the forms on this site. The legal basis is your consent.
If you take the AI Act check
Nothing reaches us. The questions and the report all run inside your own browser, and your answers are not transmitted, stored or logged anywhere. If you want to keep the report, use the print or save option, which produces a file on your own device.
When you simply visit
Google Analytics 4 is the only analytics on this site, and it only runs if you press Accept on the cookie banner. It sets cookies and tells us more: which pages lead to an enquiry, whether people finish the AI Readiness Check or the AI Act check, and which links they follow off the site. The legal basis is your consent, and you can withdraw it at any time using the Cookie choice link in the footer. Until you accept, nothing is requested from Google at all.
Our host also keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting.
Who else sees your information
We keep the list of third parties deliberately short. The ones involved are:
- Formspree receives and delivers our form submissions.
- Vercel hosts the site and keeps the server logs.
- Google provides Google Analytics 4, but only after you accept cookies. Google may process this data outside the EU under its standard contractual clauses.
- Manus hosts the AI Visibility Check and processes what you enter into it.
- Titan Email carries our email.
- Google Fonts serves the three typefaces used here, which means Google receives your IP address when a page loads.
- WhatsApp, owned by Meta, if you choose to message us that way. That conversation is governed by WhatsApp's own terms.
Some of these are based outside the European Economic Area. Where that is the case, the transfer relies on the standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard offered by the provider.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and readiness check submissions are kept for up to two years from our last contact, so we can pick up a conversation where it left off. If you become a client, we keep what we need for the work and for the periods Irish tax and company law require. Analytics data is aggregated and is not tied to you.
You can ask us to delete your details sooner, and we will.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or send it to you in a portable form. You can also object to us using it, and withdraw consent at any time. Email hello@aiva.ie and we will deal with it within one month.
If you are not happy with how we handle it, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission, the Irish supervisory authority, at dataprotection.ie.
Cookies
This site uses cookies for one thing only: Google Analytics, and only if you accept them. Nothing from Google is even requested before you choose, so declining leaves no cookie behind.
If you accept, Google sets two cookies (_ga and _ga_L6R63LYCT7) to tell repeat visits apart. They last up to two years. If you decline, we remember that choice in your browser's local storage, which is not a cookie and is not sent to us or to anyone else.
Changed your mind either way? Use the Cookie choice link in the footer of any page and the banner will come back.
Changes to this page
If we add a tool that collects something new, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
